Line & Divider Symbols FAQ
How do I make a text progress bar?
Full blocks for done, light shade for remaining: ▓▓▓▓░░░░ at any length you like. The eight partial-height blocks here also build tiny bar charts — ▁▃▅▇ — one character per bar.
Why does it look different on my friend’s phone?
Every platform draws Unicode characters with its own fonts, so the same character can look subtly (or wildly) different between devices. The character you copy is identical everywhere; only the drawing changes.
