Arrow Symbols FAQ
Which arrow should I use in running text?
The plain → is the safest: universally rendered and legible at body size. Heavier decorative arrows shine in headings and diagrams but can look blobby at small sizes — preview in context, then commit.
Why does it look different on my friend’s phone?
Every platform draws Unicode characters with its own fonts, so the same character can look subtly (or wildly) different between devices. The character you copy is identical everywhere; only the drawing changes.
