About the image resizer
Canvas resizing runs locally and shows exact output dimensions before export. A contain mode avoids accidental cropping and an optional custom ratio can be unlocked.
How to use it
- Choose the local image.
- Set the size by pixels, percentage or maximum edge — aspect ratio stays locked unless you unlock it.
- Read the exact output dimensions shown before export.
- Download the resized copy.
Useful for
- Shrink a camera photo to the exact pixel size a CMS or marketplace demands.
- Cap every image in a batch of edits to a maximum edge of 1600px for the web.
- Scale a logo by percentage without guessing at the arithmetic.

Image Resizer FAQ
Will resizing down lose quality?
Scaling down discards pixels by design and generally looks fine; scaling up cannot invent detail and will soften. The tool tells you the real output dimensions so there are no surprises.
What is max-edge sizing for?
It caps the longest side while the other follows the ratio — the practical rule for web batches where portraits and landscapes are mixed.
