SQL Formatter FAQ
Which SQL dialect does it understand?
None deeply, and that is deliberate: it lays out the shared keyword skeleton (SELECT/FROM/JOIN/WHERE…) that every dialect shares, without pretending to parse vendor grammar. Dialect-aware formatting belongs in your IDE.
Is my query data safe here?
The formatter runs locally and executes nothing. Standing policy still applies: strip real customer data from queries before pasting into ANY tool — table names rarely hurt, values can.
