What this tool does
About the json to csv converter
The converter discovers columns, escapes spreadsheet values and previews missing fields. Nested values can be stringified but are not silently flattened.
How to use it
- Paste the JSON array of objects.
- Choose how nested values are handled — stringified visibly, or rejected loudly.
- Preview the discovered columns and the rows flagged for missing fields.
- Download the CSV; values are escaped against spreadsheet formula injection.
Useful for
- Hand an API response to a spreadsheet user without writing a conversion script.
- Flatten an export for a client who lives in Excel.
- Inspect a JSON dataset as a table to spot the rows with missing fields.

JSON to CSV Converter FAQ
Why does my JSON fail to convert?
The converter wants an array of objects — [{…},{…}]. A single object, or an array of arrays, is a different shape; wrap or restructure it first and the column discovery will work.
What is CSV formula injection and why does this tool guard it?
Values starting with =, +, - or @ can execute as formulas when opened in a spreadsheet. The converter prefixes them safely, because a data file should never run code on open.
Is my data uploaded?
No — parsing and conversion run in your browser.
