What this tool does
About the sitemap url extractor
The parser reads loc elements from a sitemap or index and produces newline, CSV or JSON output. It works only on the document supplied and never follows child sitemaps.
How to use it
- Paste the sitemap XML or upload the .xml file.
- Pick the output format — newline for crawlers, CSV for spreadsheets, JSON for scripts.
- Review the count and the deduplicated list of loc entries.
- Copy or download the list; the tool never follows child sitemaps, so run indexes one file at a time.
Useful for
- Pull a clean URL list out of a sitemap to feed a crawler, a redirect map or a content audit spreadsheet.
- Compare what the sitemap declares against what a crawl actually found.
- Grab every URL from a competitor-sized export you were handed, without writing a parser.

Sitemap URL Extractor FAQ
Can it extract URLs from a sitemap index?
It reads the loc entries of the index itself — the child sitemap addresses. Paste each child sitemap in turn to get their page URLs; nothing is fetched for you, by design.
Why is my extracted count lower than my page count?
A sitemap only contains what its generator put in it. Missing pages are a sitemap-generation issue worth investigating, not an extraction error.
Is my sitemap uploaded to URSY.io?
No. Parsing and export both happen in your browser.
