Paste Inspector FAQ
How does the detection work?
Honest pattern-matching: structural signatures (eyJ = JWT, v=spf1 = SPF, Mozilla/ = UA…) with stated confidence. Multiple matches all show — a JSON that is also a JWT payload tells you both stories.
Is pasting unknown content here safe?
By design: content is parsed as DATA — never executed, evaluated or fetched. The PEM detector even refuses key analysis on principle. It is the padded room for mystery strings.
