What is the difference between reversed and mirrored?
Reversed flips the order (“abc” → “cba”) with normal letters; mirrored swaps letters for flipped lookalikes so the text reads correctly in a mirror. Combined does both — the AMBULANCE trick.
Why do some mirrored letters look approximate?
Unicode has no official mirrored alphabet, so the mapping borrows reversed-looking characters from other scripts. Symmetric letters pass through untouched; asymmetric ones get the nearest honest double.
