My employer’s total differs — who is right?
Possibly both: many payroll systems round to 15-minute blocks, this tool computes exact minutes. Ask which convention applies; the gap compounds over a year, which is why the question is worth asking.
How are night shifts counted?
Per line: an end time before the start reads as crossing midnight, so 21:00 | 05:30 is 8.5 hours before break. No manual splitting at 00:00.
