Discount Calculator FAQ
Why isn’t 25% + 10% equal to 35% off?
The second discount applies to the ALREADY reduced price: 25% then 10% is 32.5% total, never 35. Retail knows shoppers add; the calculator multiplies, which is what the till will do.
How do I check a “was £80 now £60” claim?
That is exactly 25% off — enter it and see. Anchored “was” prices are the oldest trick going; the arithmetic at least verifies the claimed gap.
