Day Rate Abroad FAQ
Why round the converted figure?
A quote of ¥81,347 announces “converted by machine”; ¥85,000 reads as a rate you charge. Rounding up also buys FX-drift margin — negotiation psychology and hedging in one habit.
Who carries currency risk on long projects?
Whoever the invoice currency says: bill in yours and they carry it, theirs and you do. Either is fair PRICED; the sheet’s dated rates give the conversation its anchor. Not financial advice — field notes.
