What this tool does
About the signal consistency checker
Reads every title-class and description-class signal on a pasted page and flags the conflicts that make machines guess your identity.
How to use it
- Paste the full page HTML, head included.
- Read the signal table: every place the page states its own name and description.
- Review flagged conflicts — pairs sharing less than half their words.
- Align them at the template level so the fix holds site-wide.
Useful for
- Stop your og:title, title tag and schema headline disagreeing in public.
- Audit template changes that quietly forked your metadata.
- Give AI summarisers one consistent identity to repeat.

Signal Consistency Checker FAQ
Why do mismatched signals actually hurt?
A machine describing your page picks ONE of the competing signals — and you don’t choose which. Share cards say one thing, search results another, AI summaries a third; authority diffuses across versions of your own name. Alignment costs nothing and ends the lottery.
Must every signal be word-for-word identical?
No — platforms have different length budgets, and the checker measures word overlap, not equality. Same story, tailored lengths passes; different stories fails. The H1 and title sharing their core phrase is the anchor.
