About the roas calculator
Enter attributed revenue, advertising spend and an optional gross-margin percentage. Results keep ROAS separate from profit, overhead and full investment return.

attributed revenue / ad spend- Roas Percent
ROAS × 100- Break Even Roas
1 / gross margin decimal
- Revenue attribution and ad spend cover the same campaign and period.
- The optional break-even figure assumes gross margin is entered as a decimal share of revenue.
- Overhead, refunds, incrementality, cash timing and attribution uncertainty are not inferred.
How to use it
- Enter attributed revenue and ad spend for the same campaign and period.
- Optionally enter gross margin to get your break-even ROAS.
- Read ROAS as a ratio and a percentage, with the break-even line beside it.
- Judge campaigns against break-even, not against zero.
Useful for
- Turn a campaign’s revenue and spend into the ROAS figure your report needs.
- Find your break-even ROAS from gross margin — the number below which ads lose money.
- Compare campaigns on equal footing before moving budget.

ROAS Calculator FAQ
What is a good ROAS?
The honest answer is: above YOUR break-even, which is 1 ÷ gross margin. At a 30% margin you need 3.3× just to stand still — a “great” 2.5× ROAS is quietly losing money. That comparison is the whole reason the margin field exists.
Why does my ad platform report a different ROAS than my accounts?
Attribution: platforms credit themselves generously (view-through, long windows). Use one consistent source for comparisons and treat every attributed number as a model, not a bank statement.
